My Cars
MGB Roadster 1972
My first Classic car I bought was this MGB Roadster. It has been restored over the last nine years and was put back onto the road in May 2006. Unfortunately I took very few pictures during the restoration but to see what I do have click on the photos link above. The MGB is fitted with Roystyle wheels and has on the whole been restored to its original specification. However a few changes were made such as changing its original colour of Orange to Flame Red which is also an original colour available the year it was manufactured. It has also been fitted with free flow air filters and a large bore stainless steel exhaust.
Marcos 3 litre GT 1970
This is my latest purchase which will be restored over the next few years (hopefully a bit quicker than the 9 years it took to do the MGB). The car was bought in its current state where the previous owner had started to strip the car planning to restore it. I've been told every thing is there and so far I can see no major items missing but as we progress with the restoration we will see what is really missing.
Update Aug 2009: After just over 3 years the car was completed ready for the 50th Aniversary Rally of Marcos. A photo of the completed car is shown below.
